The Amirkabir University of Technology startup event titled "RADSA", was held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the university’s Science and Technology Park. The event was organized with the collaboration of the of Computer Engineering and the Department of Industrial Engineering and Systems Management, and was supported by Daric Ventures.
Four student teams from the "Startup Business Development" course taught by Dr. Amirhossein Roshanzamir at the Department of Computer Engineering in the second semester of the academic year 2024–2025, competed alongside five teams from the "Entrepreneurship and Business Design" course taught by Dr. Kaveh-Mohammad Cyrus at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Systems Management), presenting their startup ideas and pitches before a panel of judges.
The startup teams from the Faculty of Computer Engineering included:
A Blockchain-based Platform for Registering and Verifying the Authenticity of Artworks
A Coffee Waste Collection Platform
An Online Sports Club Platform
A Mental Health Consultation Platform
At the end of the competition, the LUMA startup team from the Faculty of Computer Engineering won first place for their project: "An AI-powered mental health consultation platform." The team members were Ahura Gorji and Negar Kakaei (both from the Faculty of Computer Engineering), and Negar Sadeghian (from the Faculty of Polymer and Color Engineering).
Faculty members, students, and staff of the Department of Computer Engineering congratulate the LUMA team on their remarkable achievement and wish them continued success on their path of innovation and entrepreneurship.
