On the eve of the new academic year, I salute all the professors, students and enthusiasts of computer engineering visiting the website of the Faculty of Computer Engineering and Information Technology of AmirKabir University of Technology and I congratulate you the beginning of the new academic year in advance.Faculty of Computer Engineering and Information Technology of AmirKabir University of Technology has been separated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering about 30 years ago and continued as an independent department in the field of computer engineering and science. Based on 60 years of experience of AmirKabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic) and its distinguished professors, this faculty has always been recognized as one of the best computer engineering schools in Iran, and many experts believe that it is the most successful computer engineering school in the country in terms of scientific ability and training influential entrepreneurial graduates in category of industry and services.
With the progress of technology, the College has constantly updated and revised its curricula in accordance with modern-day science and technology and the needs of the country. Currently, by revising the undergraduate program, it has designed a program that, while creating strong scientific foundations, allows students to pursue their favorite fields of specialty with high flexibility.
Currently, the Department with 33 faculty members receives students in all three undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. At the graduate level (Masters and PhDs), students study computer systems architecture, software, artificial intelligence and robotics, computer networks, secure computing (information security), and e-commerce.
